Other Ministries

Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry exists to provide opportunities for the men of our church to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ and to share our experiences with others seeking to know Jesus in a real and personal way.  We accomplish this through activities, training and small group bible studies.  The Men's Ministry meets on the last Sunday morning at 7:30 of each month for breakfast and prayer. If you know of a mission project in our church the men could do on a Saturday morning, please let Kevin know.  This might include putting up a ceiling fan, yard work, something needs fixing aound the house.

Preschool Ministry

Under the direction of Sabrina Clardy, we offer nursery care to children ages birth-kindergarten.  We pledge to offer a clean, safe and secure environment for your child, where he or she can be loved and appreciated.  Weekly activities for ages 3-K include Preschool Children’s Church, Preschool Choir, Mission Friends and AWANAs.

Outreach Ministry

The CCBC outreach ministry exists to carry out the mandate of the Great Commission, as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20.  This ministry provides participants the means to write cards and letters, to make phone calls, to visit nursing homes and shut-ins, to design and distribute evangelical and church-related advertisements, to survey communities, and to do personal evangelism.  Whether it's data management, email correspondence, construction projects, or knocking on someone's door, our outreach organization has a job for you.

Deacon Ministry

Because we care for you and your family, our pastor and deacons are committed to a deacon family ministry plan. We want to make certain that every member and family in our church is loved and supported. We want to be known throughout our community as a loving and caring church.

Our deacons assist the pastor and church staff in ministering to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each church member and family. The resident church families are divided into groups of approximately 10-15 families. Each group of families is then assigned to a deacon who will minister to them over his three year deacon term.

Our deacons are here to serve you in the following ways:

-     visiting you
-     witnessing to unsaved family members
-     rejoicing with you and your family
-     being your friend, especially in times of crisis
-     answering questions about your faith or about your church
-     connecting you socially to other families in the church
-     praying for you and with you

In our family ministry plan every member and every family has a deacon. This plan helps us become a true family in Christ. You have a vital role in making this plan work.  Feel free to call your deacon. Your deacon will seek to help you or link you to another helping person.
