Music Ministry
Our musical theology: It's not about us. It's all about Him.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. -Psalm 150
There is nothing higher on God's agenda for Himself than worship. Worship comes in many forms. Some are musical and some are not. Evangelism is a form of worship. Preaching, teaching, and admonition are forms of worship. Singing praise is worship. Every function of the New Testament Church can be described as an act of worship.
With that said, God has chosen singing as a special catalyst for worship. (Col. 3:16) God inhabits the praises of his people. He has chosen music as a key to unlock the power of His presence. (I Sam. 16:23) This is what we believe.
Adult Choir
The adult choir at CCBC is both a family and a mediator. We look out for each other, encouraging both openness and sincerity in all things. We challenge each other to give our musical best, and laugh with each other when the notes are just not there. We rehearse every Wednesday, 7:30 – 8:45 pm. Guests are always welcomed. There is no audition required.
